Two weekends ago we had the pleasure of going to Alabama to see my niece make her debut in the leading role of her school play. To see Anna up on that stage was so exciting.
I have always enjoyed spending time with her, but now more than ever I notice how fast she is growing and changing. It is bittersweet. I don't see her nearly as much as I would like and know how quickly these years are passing.
Today, on your ninth birthday Anna, I want to say that you have made me one proud aunt. I love you so very much!!
