Northern Ireland - Part 4

Today was the typical running-around-before-the-wedding-day. We went to church this morning and then helped Catherine with all the last minute details - finalizing the seating chart, assembling the traditional Norwegian ring cake for Steinar's family (Kransekake), and running errands. I had to find a picture on Google since I'm using an older laptop that won't upload my pictures. The one that we put together has been assembled upside down from this picture into a bowl/basket shape and will be filled with fresh strawberries.
I also found 2 more fascinators and will decide between the two tomorrow. Yes, I think I'll take the plunge.
Unless someone takes a laptop with them, this will be the last post until Wednesday. We're staying at the reception hotel for two nights which is about 45 minutes away.
I don't know if I've explained it or not but the wedding is on a Monday since it is a public holiday on both Monday and Tuesday (celebrating the Battle of the Boyne) so everyone locally has the time off from work.
I'll update you all again as soon as I can! :)

Haven't read your blog in a few days. What a treat to have some to catch up on. Although I do wish I could've been among the many who encouraged you in the very beginning to have a ball and wear a fascinator. So elegant. i always think it's such a treat to have a reason to wear fancy duds. This wedding sounds awesome and how much fun to try a new accessory?! I'm actually jealous because I'll probably never have a reason to wear one... although now you have me thinking about a themed recommitment ceremony.

I know you're all having a great time. I just wanted you to know that Walker William Cunningham was born this morning(July 14) at 2:25AM(on Tula's birthday). He weighs 6lbs.2 oz and is 20 inches. Mom and baby are doing fine. And I think Dad's very excited!!!

I'm anxiously awaiting all the news about the wedding and hopefully a few pictures, too.
Love YOU. Mom
