I think it's going to take me a few days to catch up on blogging. SO much has happened in the past two weeks!
To back up, I was able to see The Pioneer Woman at a local library event. She made us all laugh as she shared why she desired to home school in the first place - the joy of spending time with family.
On my way home from the event, I got a phone call that an ambulance was on its way for Granny. She passed away shortly thereafter, and wow, Ree Drummond's message couldn't have hit home any clearer.
The next few days we packed and prepared and headed to Tennessee for the funeral.
We stayed at my great aunt's house - thank you so much Aunt Pat! - and had sweet time with family.
Back home, change was a-brewin' at Simon's work which was and still is a lot to digest. The Lord is moving and we are grateful for His ever-present peace!
We returned back home safe and sound on Thursday and I was away again for a homeschool conference on Friday. That's enough for another post of its own.
To be continued...
