Has anyone been watching Masterpiece Classics on PBS? Admittedly, I haven't read any of these books before seeing the films, but in my opinion, these are great!
This past Sunday was Part 1 of Tess of the d'Urbervilles. Part 2 is this Sunday at 9pm. In case you missed last week's episode you can watch it online (this week only). Get the kids in bed and watch it now!
The book was originally published in 1891 and was censored for quite some time because of it's content. What difference 100 years makes!
