Besides a night full of laughs and fellowship with some wonderful moms from CC, I managed to come away from our ornament swap with this hand-painted ornament.
Any guesses what language this is and what it says?

Well back in the stone ages we used things like Encyclopedias and Dictionaries...but who keeps a Latin dictionary around anymore. :)
