I'm thinking trick or treating came early this year and Whitaker is into tricking more than treating.
After I had a good lunch I felt really sleepy and headed back to bed. I must have really been tired since I woke up two hours later and realized I had not had a single contraction. It is now 7:30pm and still, not a single twinge. Whitaker is moving around as normal and seems as content as anything, but it's safe to say that labor has stalled for the time being.
My midwife went to go visit a local friend and will be back tonight to spend the night instead of driving back to Atlanta. She's been wonderful and very encouraging. I was joking that I'm keeping her longer this time since labor with Bennett was so fast she missed it by ten minutes.
Anyway, I'm doing well if not a little sad and frustrated. However, I am comforted by the fact that I'm sure I could wander into the hospital at any time to get a dose of pitocin. I'm sure they wouldn't turn a 41 1/2 week pregnant woman away. Then again, I think I'm happy snuggling up in my own bed tonight and hoping things start again on their own.
I'll update everyone again tomorrow! Get to prayin', would ya??? :)

How did your night go?! You having that baby right now are you?! LOL!! Love ya Kell! Can't wait!! Hang in there!
I know that can be so frustrating! My labor with Imani was really intense for 3 days before she was born (there were breaks here and there). We're praying! :)
