It's official!

We finally bought our tickets to fly to Northern Ireland this July for Simon's sister's wedding!

Speaking of weddings, I've been meaning to post these great pictures. This is Simon's parents on their wedding day.

This is Simon's dad's parents on their wedding day (Norman and Eileen Graham). He passed away before I met him, but Grannie Graham lived until just last year so I had the pleasure of knowing her.

This was Simon's last picture with Grannie Graham in 2006.

Now for a few pictures of our wedding in 2000. Sorry for the quality. They are not in digital format so I just had to take a picture of the pictures. Simon's Uncle Gordon has the rights to these and I'm assured he wouldn't mind although it doesn't do his work justice. Simon's sister will be married here as well. I'm beginning to get excited!!

Northern Ireland, here we come!

Awww! I'm so jealous! It's been a lifelong dream of mine to visit Ireland. I'm sure it will be beautiful.

Can you explain the pitchfork please?

It was Harvest weekend (in N. Ireland it is a holiday that originated by celebrating God's bounty). The church was decorated with fall flowers, vegetables, etc and if you notice in the picture of the church there are shovels at the front of the church. The pitchfork picture was completely impromptu. Someone thought it would funny to have us walk under them. Wish it had more meaning but it was so much fun!
