Psalm 100

Both older kids have been working on scripture memorization and I thought I'd have them begin with my favorite chapter of the Bible that I have ever memorized. I learned this for my sixth grade graduation have never forgotten it. It's KJV, although I can't say that anything else we memorize will be. Not too bad for a 3 year old, huh?

Psalm 100
1Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Kelli,
Your blog sure is getting fancy! I'm so thankful that Haviland is someone that Julia wants to spend time with. It is beautiful to watch her speak God's word with such ease...knowing that it is written on her heart. Precious!

It is precious, but at the same time I'm embarrassed at the lack of scripture I have in my own heart. My prayer is that this is just a beginning and that she not just holds the words in her heart but it's message which is far more important!!!
